NOISELAB MISSION!
City Centre Guerrilla Art workshop pitch - with Spearfish
• Are you a graff/illustrator/ doodling artist extraordinaire?
• Would you like to see your artwork on display to the public in Manchester city centre?
Work with the creators of the Eurocultured Festival and
one of Manchester's top graffiti artists to design and then paint a
mural in a high profile and very public space in Manchester City Centre
- – top secret until the day of the painting.
A select group of young artist's will be given the opportunity to plan a painting with Manchester based artist 'Ruse'
and international arts organisation Spearfish. All participants should
have experience using spray paint and painting before an audience in
public.
This planning session and a talk by one of the founders
of Spearfish and Ruse will take place on April 8th between 6-8pm at
NOISELAB. The painting will take place over the following weekend. |

The session
- During the session you’ll hear all about Spearfish, the collective behind the successful Eurocultured festival
(30-31st May 2010), which brings leading visual artists, DJs, dancers,
performers and live music from every corner of Europe to the streets of
Manchester over May bank holiday weekend.

Who are SpearFish?
'Spearfish are an international arts organisation with an
unprecedented drive to deliver inspirational events and projects to diverse
audiences throughout Europe.
Working in the areas of visual art, music, dance,
performance and digital media we have produced high profile projects that
include that acclaimed piece of hip hop theatre called Life of a B-boy and
Eurocultured Street festivals in Manchester, Dublin, Bratislava and Belfast.
